Youth Services

Youth Center 

The Andrews AFB youth programs encompasses school age programs for before and after school care, holiday camps, summer camps, sports, instructional classes, and membership program. Youth services provide a well-balanced learning atmosphere for children and youth. Each child will grow socially, educationally, and physically while participating in the recreational activities and educational opportunities offered in the open choice environment of the program.

  • Accredited by the National After School Alliance (NAA)

The evening programs are offered to youth and teens for high yield learning opportunities. Some of the programs include:

  • Piano Lessons
  • Art Camps

Teen Job Bank

The Youth Center offers a teen job bank. There is a listing of job opportunities available in the teen lounge for eligible youth. The Career Focus Manager can assist youth of AD members to obtain part time or summer employment. For more info, please contact the Teen Program coordinator at 301-981-KIDZ (5430). The Youth Center is open to all eligible youth of the Andrews community. This facility offers youth and teen recreation areas, gymnasium, dance room, TV room/theater, and more.
