Location: Located in El Paso, TX, Fort Bliss is home to the 1st Armored Division. We are the largest FORSCOM installation in the Army. Bliss is comprised of other commands: MEDCOM, JTF-NORTH, the Largest TRADOC footprint on an FORSCOM installation, USAR, and other elements. Schools: Four elementary schools and one high school on post run by El Paso Independent School District. Personnel living off post should be aware that there are also nine other school districts in the El Paso area. El Paso, Socorro, Ysleta, Canutillo, San Elizario, Clint, Anthony, Fabens, and Tornillo. Where you reside designates the school your children will attend. El Paso School District is the largest district and the one with the most Military students in attendance. Youth Services: Youthplex- (915) 568-4374 on main post and the Replica Youth Center, 5037 Sheridan Road (915) 978-3523, houses the Middle School and Teen (MS&T) programs. Game room with billiards, foosball, video and board games, computer lab, music room, lounge with big screen TV, a video library, teen patio and playground, arts and crafts activities, and a skateboard park. This clinic is located on East Fort Bliss on SSG Sims Blvd., next to the new Dental Clinic. Take SGM Blvd. and turn left onto SSG Sims Blvd. the building is located on your left.

Defense Service Network (DSN) Dialing Instructions
The DSN is the provider of long-distance communications service for the Department of Defense (DoD). Every installation has a special DSN number and the numbers vary by world-wide location. In order to place a call using DSN, the caller must be using a military phone on an installation. Cell phones cannot dial DSN numbers. When dialing a DSN number from a United States installation to another United States installation, it is unnecessary to dial the DSN 312 area code. When dialing a DSN number to/from overseas locations, the DSN area code must be included. The operator can be reached at commercial (719) 567-1110. Please note that long distance charges may be incurred.
