Temporary Lodging offers clean, comfortable, modern lodging arrangements to all eligible personnel and their guests. Guestrooms are equipped with all the amenities of home such as: telephones, free internet access, cable television, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, iron and ironing board. Pet rooms are limited.
The Grafenwoehr Army Lodging is located at Building 619 on Tower Barracks close to the German community of Grafenwoehr. The Kristall Inn is located on Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Building 275. Both facilities are open 24/7. Both lodgings offer free continental breakfast.
Registration will take place at the time of check in.
PCS-in/PCS-out, TDY military/civilian, retirees, distinguished guests. Availability needs to be checked at the time of placing a reservation.
Reservations for PCS-in can be made 180 days prior to the arrival date. All other official travelers make reservations up to 90 days out. Unofficial travelers can make reservations 7 days in advance.

Maximum length of stay
Maximum length of stay is determined by room availability, authorization of TLA, duration of exercise and housing availability.
Pets are welcome at both, the Grafenwoehr Army Lodging and the Kristall Inn Vilseck. Cost is $3.00 per day per pet. There is an additional one-time cleaning fee. Please contact the lodging facility for more information if you are bringing a pet, as pets are only allowed in pet-friendly rooms. A list of local kennels is available upon request.
Check in is 2:00 p.m. or earlier if the room is available. Leisure travel is space-available.
When on PCS -in status a complete set of orders is required to start up the direct reimbursement of TLA. The soldier needs to process in to the community in a timely manner and it is of utmost importance that he/she ensures that he/she is on the appropriate Housing Waiting-list. He maintains direct contact with Housing. It is appreciated that the soldier maintains accurate departure dates with the front-desk.
If soldier is not command-sponsored, all expenses for lodging become a personal expense.
